  • Kendo is a bit more expensive than other martial arts like karate for example. but that depends on how good quality equipment you want to buy.

You can easily find equipment in very affordable prices and my opinion is that kendo is worth every penny of your money and every second of your time.

  • i found this documentary one evening i was sitting bored in my room not knowing what to do with my time....

since then im walking the path of the sword.

although its hard sometimes its worth every step!

  • Hello. Please help Japan.

Korea is bad. They steal Japanese culture.

    Please watch

  • Does anyone know the title of the song right at the start of the documentary? I've heard it before at a cafe I frequent.

  • is it me or is the intro a great song, kinda like the beginning to a great anime/video game

  • wow, my best friend and i watched this and we couldn't even speak when we finished watching this. This is absolutely amazing.

  • lol yup, a lot of small senseis are pretty damn good even against taller opponents.

  • no its funny how the channel used one japanese term that people might not understand but used the term kendo'ist when they can stick to calling it in its original japanese form which is kendoka

  • i really don't see the point of your comment.. i guess im just confused, but a kendo'ist is a kendoka or kenshi. then hachidan means eighth dan in japanese... so i guess im just confused

  • hahahahaah Kendo'ist call it Kendoka if they are going to say hachidan instead of eighth dan.

  • big gym :)
