The 1997-98 Timberwolves were a wonderful team. I loved Parks.

@JayIceColdD It was a white kid. His mom pleaded him to pass the ball, and of course he didn't. Basketbawful recounts this commercial, and they also say the kid was white. Anyway, I think they just like to poke fun at the fact that most great ballers are black. That's why Cherokee Parks goes after Googs, because he doesn't understand why that white guy gets to be a FP and Parks can't. I don't find it offensive at all, and in fact, I think it's funny.

You'll notice that Tom Gugliotta (a white guy) is one of the fun police.
I don't think they're racist. There just weren't any "entertaining" white players in the NBA until Jason Williams showed up.

I like how all of these Fun Police commercials are all thinly-veiled mockeries of white folks.
Now someone just needs to upload the video with Gary Payton baiting the ballhogging kid (white, of course) to pass the ball, and the kid is incapable. "Pass the ball, dog!"
