@SB80100 Yes, the NES version has an ending. This game is very different from the arcade version, which goes on forever.

Yeah, I kind of fucked up here compared to with the Elf. But perhaps I was a bit impatient in getting the video out compared to getting it all right.

At least I always found it easier to beat the game with the Wizard than with the Elf.

I remember spending a good part of a grade-school summer vacation trying to beat this game. I finally beat it on the last day of summer. I was really disappointed with the ending; didn't seem to fit the effort! LOL

Dude, this is literally the second time in my life I've seen this footage. It took my brother and I two years to beat this, and we won the game with something like 20 points a piece. This was truly the heyday of gaming, when Tengen and other manufacturers weren't fooling around. They would keep you hooked on the same game for months trying to beat it, and when you finally did, you knew you got your money's worth. Oh, for a trip back in time!
