This is the abridged version of Danny Ayalon's video. It's a great video, but he talks WAY too much. This version gets right to the point.
Here is the link to the full version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGYxLWUKwWo
Israel's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Danny Ayalon explains the historical facts relating to the Israeli Palestinian conflict. The video explains where the terms "West Bank", "occupied territories" and "67 Borders" originated and how they are incorrectly used and applied.
@thecriticalg When I say Israel, I mean Israel. The state.
I don't deny that Jewish people have contributed to the science of mankind. I refuse to accept that Israel (the state), as people continue saying, contributed ANYTHING GOOD.
And I hate videos that are titled "the TRUTH" ... WTF!!?
Who put them in charge of the truth?

@chugalongway01 Sad, but true. If American stopped giving Israel so much money, maybe the Israeli politicians would see sense. Back in 1995, when Rabin was assassinated the Left vowed that the peace would prevail. Then Netanyahu was elected and it's all been downhill since then. I feel sorry for the Palestinians; I also feel sorry for the Israelis -- most of them don't seem to see what's going on.

@LittleVillage24 Very true. If only Israelis woke up to the fact that their politicians are exploiting them and have ruined Israel's international reputation. It's so sad to see Netanyahu as prime minister there; it feels like a bad dream that I can't wake up from.

@oporim Having said that, I agree that this video is bogus, and Israel has done a lot of things wrong. But saying "Israel has contributed nothing" is simply not factual. There are plenty of good reasons to criticise Israel, and making up nonsense only makes your argument weak. I'm sure you have good reasons, so please don't obscure them with narrow-minded silliness.

@oporim Actually, this very website was coded in PHP, which was developed by two Israelis. Most of what you do online is due to the work of Israeli IT professionals. The Technion in Haifi (Israel's MIT) has won more Nobel prizes than all the French universities put together.
If Muslim science in the middle ages was so developed, why has it not advanced in the last 500 years? One possibility is that Muslim scholars were taking credit for the science of the nations that they had conquered.

@Mikeybetts That is quite true. It has nothing to do with the Palestinians' legitimate claim to a state of their own, but Israel does deserve credit for contributing more to science, medicine, engineering, IT, etc etc than most of the world put together.

@thecriticalg since 1948 its been pure Zionist gain to pure Pali lost in regard to land.
Since 1988 the Palis have recognized Israels right to exist on 78% of the land that was 100% theirs. This is unique in a anti colonial struggle such as theirs and a real concession to a comprehensive peace. But Israel having gained so much refuses to recognize this fact and match this real Pali concession. How can the Palis negotiate with someone who seems to want it all.

@chugalongway01 Ayalon also conveniently forgets that the partition that the Israelis agreed to in 1947/48 was for a much smaller portion of Israel, as it is internationally recognised today. If Israel and Palestine were to be divided along those lines, the Israelis would have to withdraw not only from the West Bank, but from all the coastal towns south of Tel Aviv, the northern of the country surrounding Haifa, and the Golan Heights. Israel has a sweet deal, be happy with what you've got.
