Orangutans aren't monkeys. They are apes. With only one exception, the Barbary macaque, all monkeys have tails. And even the Barbary macaque has a tail. It's just very small.

@popeye1800 Dogs have been bred over centuries as domestic animals - orangutans haven't. This orang was probably smuggled illegally as a baby into Thailand for use in the entertainment industry, after being taken from his mother, who was undoubtedly killed. Now if that isn't abuse, I don't know what is.
