@cristianearanha06 It's an automatic translation from automatically transcribed captions. That's why it's so bad.(É uma tradução automática de legendas automaticamente transcritas. É por isso que é tão ruim)

"Religion and science do not have to be at odds, says Sagan's widow." is an interesting quote.
Yet, Ann Druyan shared quite a bit more within this one:
"I think we still have an acute case of post-Copernican-stress syndrome. We have not resolved the trauma of losing our infantile sense of centrality in the universe. And so as a society we lie to our children. We tell them a palliative story, almost to ensure that they will be infantile for all of their lives."
Thank you for sharing this vid.

I'm an anti theist, but most religions have some good ideas ( not commandments). Most eastern religions require meditations...which I think is very good for people. The trouble comes when a religion says it "owns" this idea, that I have real issues. Of course, living in a "Theocracy" would be the worst thing to me!

His Holiness says that religion is simply an "Inner Science" that may sound cliche.... I think Sagan was almost taken aback.
That woman is as much a joy to listen to as her husband was.
