I just talked to James and he is still competing. He will be competing at the IFBB Pro Masters Bodybuilding World Championships in Miami. He is still training himself and others in the Atlanta area. He also has a Facebook page.
AND he still looks AWSOME!

@FLEXRATED Mr. Hampton hardly vanished. He's been competing every year for about thirty years now, just not on the national scene. He was at the Masters in Pittsburgh several years in a row.
