Normally I would say "No", but considering you will pay 12 bucks for a good beer at the Flying Saucer, it was worth the experience. Who knows if I will ever be fortunate enough to actually travel to Belgium. I have found them online much cheaper since then. Probably closer to $20.

You shouldn't drink it right out of the fridge. The monks actually give instructions on their website how it's best served. The website is: w w w .sintsixtus. be. It's gonna be a Belgian website but you can set it in English, no worries :)

Living in Belgium is the coolest thing. We can drink from when we're 16, although not the strong beers.

You prounounce it wrong, but it's normal, 'cause not many people speak the same way as belgians :)

Be sure to also try: Duvel - La Chouffe - Tripel Karmeliet (Also sometimes called the best beer in the world) - Tempelier - Orval (trappist) - Rochefort (trappist). Those and ofc Westvleteren are my favorites :)!

If you get another one don't pull it straight out of the fridge and start drinking. Let the beer come up in temp, there are a lot more flavors as the beer warms up.
