The reason no sequel was made is because this movie was too well done.

No pointless female micro drama, no obvious heroes, no Hollywood bullshit at all.

Very historically accurate and faithful to the books.

Not a recipe for big box office I'm afraid.

Gets my vote for best seafaring movie of all time. To watch this movie in 5.1 Surround is a joy to behold.
