http://www.euroncap.com/tests/audi_a4_2008/320.aspx Frontal Impact takes place at 64 Km/h, 40% of the width of the car striking a deformable barrier. In the side impact, a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door at 50 km/h. In the pole test, the car tested is propelled sideways at 29km/h into a rigid pole.

  • @EliteSlayer542 This car is safe... you can see in the 64 km offset test the occupant space is intact, there is some crush zone left, and the driver dummy only goes about halfway through the airbag. In the pole test (Despite its 29 km speed this is a severe test) the curtain airbag stops the dummy's head well before the pole, and the structure does very well for such a severe test. In an 80 km front crash or 64 km side crash, I think occupants would not suffer serious injury.

  • Love that car. The new A6 looks a lot like this one.

  • @nexussix00 Most people get to break before the crash. I was in a severe car crash almost 2 years ago. I was hit on the front passengers door by someone speeding trough an intersection at over 80km. I have a permanent neck injury from it and I'm still recovering from back injuries. If my GF was in the car she'd be dead. Cars need to be safer and these tests should be harder to pass.

  • because most of the times when u drive at 100km/h u can at least react to break 40km down before crashing..

  • Why do they do test at only 64km?? Im far more concerned about highway speed crashes (90km+) I want to see head a collision or at least the results of a rear end impact at a minimum of 80km

If the occupants can survive a severe crash at over 80km THAN ill be impressed.

  • a wheel cup obviously

  • great crash test performance. the windshield did not even break in the front crash.

  • What flies out of the front left wheel in the frontal impact?
