Guys, the blood is off in this game or version. The official site still shows it with blood and gore in the screenshots, both in the English and Japanese sites.

Ukyo was my DAWG, i powned suckers with him. actually got BANNED from the character when my friends go together to play the game.

It's not terrible, but it does look underwhelming. If I weren't such a big Ukyo fan, I'd prolly pass it up. They ARE trying to match up against big games on next gen consoles.

I've seen videos of Ukyo in action, and neither delivered any of his special or signature moves. Could just be the player not being very skilled, Idk... *shrugs*

Here's hoping his hot fangirls are back, at least. His groupie win pose is the best win pose EVAR!

Thia is a fail, just look at Ukyo not a single signature move just a bunch of akward looking combos, if youre going to copy Soul Calibur you might aswell do a good job of it. One thing about 3D games versus 2D games, is 2D games dont really have huge movesets ( in SF most characters only have a few moves) in 3D the move sets are huge (Hworang of Tekken has almost 200 moves) while most of the the fights i've seen of EOD only use a few. If you want to 3D give us some diversity at least.

@reignxzile he doesn't stumble, that's just the guy who recorded this video's camera lagging. he stayed crouched the whole time but no stumble (unless your guard is broken XP new system)

@OrganOwner Ukyo is well by the time this one takes place. there is no blood in the arcade versions but there will be in home consoles. there are even desperation move tutorials on the SNK website

@TheHeroine22 actually.... the arcade version doesn't have blood (atleast not the one in the mall where I live) but the home console versions are supposed to have blood, desperation moves, and fatal slashes.

@ronpittc have you played it? if you had than you would see that the characters retain all their movesets.

the game is about teh same speed of the 2d samurai spirits games (unless you are an idiot who never used defense in the old ones.)

so I don't see the fail here, the graphics are mediaocre and the story is weak but in a fighting game neither of those matter.

as much as I like Samurai Shodown series, this one is a fail!! fans are more of the old school fighting and are more accustom to that, sorry this is a major fail for SNK
