This may be the most beautiful song that I heard in all of 2009. It is Gretchen Peters singing the Tom Russell song "Guadalupe," from her album, "One To The Heart, One To The Head." Tom joins her on supporting vocals. The song is also featured on Tom's own 2009 release, "Blood And Candle Smoke," one of the finest albums of songs from the past year. I highly recommend both albums.

It can't get any better. Another great Tom Russell Song, who being a great singer-songwriter rendered a brilliant version. But the interpretation by Gretchen Peters goes unsurpassed. Though not being that much a fan of Mrs. Peters, I must admit, that she did an outstanding job on this timeless tune.
