I found the best placing Kansas City to go skydiving. It's Missouri River Valley skydiving. Which is been my home for the last two years. Skydiving can be addicting. Here's the story of my first jump.

My heart begins pounding as I sit in the airplane awaiting to take the plunge from more than 10,000 feet in the air...

It started off as a simple idea, a mere suggestion, that went something like this. " Hey, let's go skydive". The suggestion went out a few good friends of mine and now here I am, the only one, in the airplane getting ready to experience the thrill of a lifetime! They chickened out.

My tandem master, Rick, explained all the details, geared me up, and was very reassuring that nothing would go wrong. The quote he gave me was "I have a vested interest in living, and since you're going to be strapped to me, we're going to be fine". And that worked. I stopped worrying.

As the plane came to altitude in the door opened, I had a sudden realization that this is actually going to happen. And it did.

There are no words to describe the euphoric feeling when you land. And that's why Missouri River Valley skydiving has been my home for the past two years.
