Manny Pacquiao, is a Filipino professional boxer and politician. He is an eight-division world champion, the first boxer in history to win ten world titles in eight different weight divisions. He is also the first boxer in history to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes. He was named "Fighter of the Decade" for the 2000's by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA). He is also a three-time BWAA and The Ring "Fighter of the Year" in 2006, 2008 and 2009.

@jamdowner Im just going by facts... Name a figher who won 4 Lineal championship? Name a fighter who won 4 titles in the original 8th weight classs? Name a fighter who won 13th world titles in 8th different division? Yah Im biased...

damn ..you can't deny greatness...once in a lifetime warrior indeed...he reminds me of henry armstrong.....2008 to 2010 he captured the 130, 135, 140 147 154 in 2 years....he fought from 105,112,122,126,130,135,140,14­7,...thats amazing find me a flyweight today that will beat all great fighters in a row from sasakul,ledwaba,barrera,marque­z,morales, hatton dela hoya cotto clottey margarito mosley ....thats hard to get away with wihtout getting hurt....mad respect

@Pinoycyberwebs It is true. Manny has made a great achievement from flyweight to light middleweight. But I'm British, not filipino and so my opinion is not influenced by bias. I could say something like Joe Calzaghe is the greatest fighter of all time and my reasons would be (a) he retired unbeaten, (b) he unified all the belts, (c) the first & only Ring Magazine Super Middleweight champ, (d) made over 20 defences, (e) won the light heavyweight title as well. But I'd be biased.

I believe Manny is an all time great. Perhaps in the top ten. But he isn't the GOAT. That honour belongs to either Muhammad Ali or Sugar Ray Robinson.
