Incident One: Elizabeth's mother is coming for a visit and Elizabeth makes the den over as a spare room. Alvin works a crossword puzzle, oblivious to what Elizabeth is doing.
Alvin: "Honey, what's a five letter word meaning stupid?"
Elizabeth: "Alvin. That's a l v i n."
Incident Two: Alvin and Elizabeth go on a picnic and decide to bicycle to the picnic site. Alvin has trouble with his bicycle while Elizabeth makes funny observations, much to Alvin's chagrin. Are those Western Flyer bicycles?
Incident Three: Alvin and Elizabeth have an encounter with nosey neighbor, Mrs. Skinridge (Loie Bridge).
The on-camera announcer and narrator, with whom Elizabeth has short conversations with during the show, is Jack Narz. This episode of Life With Elizabeth is believed to have aired in 1953.

What network did "Life With Elizabeth" air on back in the 50s? Was it a primetime show like "I Love Lucy'?

@store275 The show was produced by and filmed at local Los Angeles TV station KLAC-TV in 1952 where Betty White worked. I think it was a prime time show.
