International Mountain Summit (IMS) Impressions - South Tyrol 2009

International Mountain Summit (IMS) is an international forum which was initiated in 2009 ( Nov 02 / 07) in South Tyrol were mountaineers, mountain lovers, film makers and the likes from around the world gather and deliver lectures, participate and take on delicate subjects related to mountains and the mountain communities and those in love with those special crafts of creator created out of love and his/her best choice!

I was lucky to be at the first IMS meet where I met hundreds of mountaineering and climbing stars like Sir Doug Scott, Sir Christ Bonington, Alexander Huber, Ines Papert, Peter Habeler, Simone Moro, Reinhold Messner, Hanspeter Eisendle, Christoph Heinz, Alexandra Ladurner, Lynn Hill, Hans Kammerlander, Heinz Zak, Stephan, Siegrist, Roger Schali, Tamara, Steve House and many wonderful people from across Europe, Americas and other continents.

It was also a privilege to meet the amazing team of organizers of IMS.
