@rissygirly22 Maureen had dark hair when she married Ringo, but I get what you're saying.

Did any of you see the HBO special about George Harrison. What a dissapointment. To say that "Something" and others was written for anyone but Patti is rediculous and petty. I loved George but he was acting like a little boy saving face. She was "that time" and they were beautiful together. When I was a kid I couldn't wait to see pictures of her with George. Hope someone does a realistic movie about them. The two of them together was part of music history ,

@stevenhulberg Yeh right "something in the way he moves attracts me like no other lover" and "something in the way he woos me" is about Krishna? Don't think so. Go thru the whole song and substitute she for he and see how ridiculous it sounds. When asked if the song was about Patti, George said sarcastically that no it was about Ray Charles. If George told Patti it was about her then it was about her. Unless George had another lover on the side then it was about Patti.

This song is really Something.

Actually, the original opening line was "Something in the way HE moves"...referring to George's love for Lord Krishna...upon hearing it the three other Beatles got on George because they didn't want to be labeled "poofters" (gay) by their fans...has NOTHING to do with Patti Boyd! Now you fans know THE REAL STORY!!!

but what's awful is George and Pattie's marriage lasted only for a brief 7 years. Then Pattie went on marrying Eric Clatpon and that marriage didn't last either. Clapton and Harrison were friends to but it's remarkable how George was okay with Eric marrying her. But then George fell in love with Olivia and they were truly happy.

pattie and george=BEST COUPLE EVER. she was really pretty and george was so beautiful(: if they had kids, the would've been just as beautiful. i just noticed this but at the time when Cynthia was with John, Pattie with George, Maureen with Ringo, and Jane with Paul, they all had blond girlfriends/wives. Jane was the only red head. i don't know i just noticed that

@ijustrocknroll Of course it's about Pattie. They were in love at the time. He said later he had Ray Charles in mind. BS ... is there one line that fits any aspect of Ray Charles or his music? "Something in the way she moves". Just look at the way she moves. She's a model for chrissakes. Also, why would George change the lyrics because 'he realised it was about Hare Krishna'? You don't write a whole song and then omg it's about Hare Krishna, I have to change it, what was I thinking.

Pattie is so magnificent. The world's a little more brilliant for having known her :) <3
Something WAS written for her. He said it was, why would he say that then later change his mind.

And WHY do people insist that Pattie only dated George to become famous?
For those of you who haven't read her book, after they were married George asked her to quit modeling. She was basically a stay-at-home wife, at his insistence.
Let's see.. George Harrison, Eric Clapton, plus John Lennon and Mick Jagger, who admitting to having huge crushes on Pattie... they were surrounded by beautiful women. And once again, she was the special one that stuck out. She had a certain charm.
