How do they choose the Dalai Lama? The Dalai Lama is the head monk of Tibetan Buddhism and he used to be in charge of governing Tibet. Like all Dalai Lamas he was chosen for the role as a child. But how can you tell if a toddler would make a good head monk? And how come the current Dalai Lama isn't even allowed to live in Tibet any more?

  • The Dalai Lama says he's not going to be reborn as a Dalai Lama.

  • Dalai lama said his previous life is the slave in Egypt.

  • Haha a bong at 1:41

  • Watch trhe movie Kundun it tells the story of how the current dali lama was chosen. very fascinating!

  • The chosen one

  • Atheist can not choose the next Dalai Lama, otherwise we tibetan will choose the next Chinese leader :-)

eastern2western - only North Korea want CCP as leader !

  • not all buddhists believe dalai lama is the leader. it is only the believers accept dalai lama as the leader

  • @hotmercedes ya, doesn't do much for the reputation of this joke of a university too.

  • I wouldn't say the bong was an insult, just look into ancient medicines and the worship of the plant in asia.. Given that it simply doesn't cause the right chemical reactions to kill someone, and never has, I'd say its pretty neutral karma unlike perhaps.. the gun, haha
