Doris duke" Woman of the Ghetto"

Version of "Woman of The Ghetto"! In the early 70's Doris Duke recorded 2 album's 'I'm A Loser' and 'A Legend In Her Own Time'. Both albums brought here critical acclaim and soul diva status, particulary with the UK soul fans and during a visit to england in 1974 Doris signed with Cooltempo records, owned by Blues & Soul magazine editor John Abbey. The resultant LP of songs chosen by Doris and John displayed a high quality of repertoire and performance, and is presented here for the first time in CD format. Female Southern Soul at its best!
