(Yes, I know this is corny...it's SUPPOSED to be! LOL) My friend, Melissa wanted to re-create certain scenes from Marilyn Monroe movies for a video contest. Requirements are that the scene include kissing and restrictions are that exact word-for-word dialogue from the original films could not be used. So, we just took the basic gist of it and completely improvised these scenes based on our memory of the basic dialogue exchange between Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe. This was all spur of the moment. We thought of it, then we just did it...no rehearsals, nothing. Just threw on some costumes. Keep in mind that in the original film, Tony Curtis' millionaire accent was SUPPOSED to sound really fake, so I just kept the spirit of that idea. And his character was supposed to give hints that he was enjoying the kisses from Marilyn's "Sugar" while he pretended to her that he didn't. I'm glad we also paid tribute to h scene where Tony (as "Joe" in drag as "Josephine" kisses Sugar (Marilyn) forgetting for the moment he was in drag. Thus, it looks to everyone else - including Sugar herself at first, that she was just kissed by a lesbian in front of everyone - especially to the shock of the band leader, Sweet Sue! But the mafia guys also see this and figure out it is Joe and chase off him off - still in drag!
Unfortunately, my friends Mitchell and Ed were not available to play Jack Lemon's "Gerry / Daphne" and Osgood Fielding the millionaire who has the hots for Daphne who helps them all escape. So, we had to leave those parts out, unfortunately. We'll try to add them later.
Melissa and I are just friends and often work colleagues. We are not involved with each other on any level, so the kiss scenes were just for the sake of acting out the scenes and nothing more.
Thanks for watching and sorry Melissa's camera is so fuzzy!
"Joe" / "Josephine" / Tony Curtis: Gerard Christian Zacher (me)
"Sugar" / Marilyn Monroe: Melissa Weiss

This was great!

Thank you. It was just something we did on the spur of the moment for the contest my friend wanted to enter. But thank you for the nice comment. Much appreciated!
