The Big Adventure day for Lillith & Blondie Menard's babies, Stanley Monster baby, and Kudos the hit by a truck victim was a very difficult and bittersweet release.

As much as I would like to have become coonie and go with them as they wished, I could not. A large piece of my heart has gone with these four sweet babies.

One would think a rehabber becomes calloused and releasing our charges are just an every day event. It is just the beginning of our pondering of how they will survive and if we are doing the right thing sending them back into the wild. Are they ready? Did we do them justice? And will they tell me at Rainbow Bridge that they had a long happy life?
