I used to work as a cashier, and i'm familiar with the problem you mention. i go to a gas station and give the cashier $21 for a $10.63 purchase, and the cashier stops and has to think about it for a minute.

Anyway, all of this DVD preview stuff..whats the deal with that?

I went to get gas one time, ended up getting round up to $36, So I give the attendant 2 twenties and a single to get $5 back, and he thought the $1 was a tip. I had to coach him to do the math.
