CAR MAKERS DON'T GET IT...ELECTRIC CARS NO GOOD

I strongly disagree with your statement. These EV cars are more expensive because there aren't many on the road. What people like you forget: flat screen LCD/Plasma TV's, DVD players, cell phones were very expensive in the beginning.

It took me 8 years to afford a LCD TV. Now everyone just about has one. I remember people said "oh there expensive!" That all changed when the consumer like what they see. EV's will eventually come down in price. Keeping the status quo won't help us at all.

this is not to be disrespectful but it sounds like you have not done your history on the electric car. Like the ev1 they brought out back in 94 and then for some reason took it back from the people that leased them . The same people that were ready to buy the cars out right. But the three big took them any way and killed them. If you look up the screen name liveoilfree you could learn how far we have come and why it would be so much better if the big 3 would get off there snopish asses.

@Violatorman OK DUDE.....But just don't give the drivers of electric cars any dirty looks as you see more and more electric cars in the next few years......Eventually, all cars will be electric as gasoline goes from 3 to 4 to 5 to 6 dollars per gallon and even higher.....Mark my words....Have a great day out there.....

Make every car, gas or electric in China as then we can afford one of the two types available. Unions causes prices in American products to be too expensive. But made in China, then automobiles would be more affordable with out over paid union workers.

You sound like such a nice person....There seems to be a type of HATRED growing out there towards people like me who LOVE the idea of electric cars....My dear friend, as a child and as a teenager I grew up working in my dad's gasoline station in California....That started in 1964 when regular sold for 23 cents per gallon.....GET OVER IT....THE WORLD IS CHANGING......GO ELECTRIC ! !

@sierracuban true but electric cars wont last that long either and we still gonna have gasoline but not the regular one we using we might be using clean diesel or natural gas and the reason i dont like electric cars is it doesnt got a engine and tale pipe also it very quiet.

THIS IS NORMAL HUMAN REACTION TO A NEW PRODUCT......Except that it's NOT a new product....Electric cars were on the road BEFORE gasoline cars 100 years ago....When gasoline cars first came out they were also rejected by people who said that the noise scared the horses off......ELECTRIC CARS ARE HERE TO STAY......Gasoline will be 4 dollars per gallon this year, and 5 dollars very soon....KEEP THIS AND PROVE ME WRONG.
