  • I've heard that it still lives 2000 people in Chernobyl

  • @Kimpa445

There are a large number of military in the village of Chernobol.

The village however is about 30 kilometer from the power plant.

  • the radiation has not affected the trees as they still green an growing, the grass looks okay , why not let people back to live an rebuild the place?

  • @pboi54

The gras is radioactive as it is in the ground.

Hence the grass is considered radioactive waste and must be cut and stored.

The amount of waste grows every year as grass grows as well and a biggest fear in the area are forest fires as that would set the radiation free up in the air again

  • Nice song on the background, I think it's from kraftwerk, but what is the title? Thansk

  • @r8448

    Radiation penetrates you.

But you can also get it through particals like dust or through contaminated food or drinks

  • good job.....very nice video with suitable music.kraftwerk...excellent choice...

  • @Fox250R

    Not in Pripyat

  • @Stifflerkid

There are 2 zones, the 30 kilometer zone where the military are based and guards and the 10 kilometer zone where no one lives within

  • @FallinForInfinity101

It is possible to access the area with tours that are controlled

And the levels are still dangerous to your health if you stay longterm

A visit more or less exposes you to the same readiation level as a transatlantic flight.

  • Hold on... how'd you get in there? I thought it was illegal to go through there. And also, I cannot read radiation levels. is is still really bad there or is it safe-ish now?

  • How do all those people get in the zone these days? Isn't it prohibited to enter?
