Care Cadet camp took place over 3 weeks in June 2008. The campers, all in 7th and 8th grade, enjoyed training cats, interacting with exoptic pets, learning about proper care for animals, and how to become animal advocates. After the 3 week camp, the campers become volunteers with the Louisiana SPCA; normally, our volunteers are 14 or older.
