Bellevue Medical Center Ribbon Cutting

On May 1, 2010 Nebraska dignitaries, elected leaders, physicians and the general public gathered to cut the ribbon on Bellevue Medical Center, the first ever community hospital in the city of Bellevue. The new hospital is a joint effort between The Nebraska Medical Center, UNMC Physicians and a group of local doctors committed to improving health care in Bellevue and its surrounding communities. Bellevue Medical Center will provide a full compliment of hospital services, including 24-hour emergency and labor and delivery care, as well as surgery and physical therapy. The Bellevue Medical Center campus is also home to a 60,000 square foot medical office building.
