@springjo1 I thought the defense was "satisfactory" in the kentucky and OSU games, it still could have been better, but with the way our offense was scoring it didnt seem like it needed to. The second half today at the penn state game looked like it brought us almost back to where we were. Playing like we did in the first half of the season plus some good 3 point shooting and i dont think that there are many teams out there that could compete.

It's called the Big Ten for a reason. It's tough. It's not the SEC where you play the likes of Ole Miss, Arkansas and LSU (do they still have basektball?). Big Ten basketball is for real. The bottom of the Big Ten would clean house on the SEC.

@MrLcmcb We will just have to wait and see. I think you're right that defense has to improve a lot. I remember watching Indiana playing Kentucky and it was clearly Indiana's lack of defense that kept Kentucky in the game and allowed Kentucky to nearly escape with the win. The story is about the same against Ohio State. Indiana's lack of defense allowed Ohio State to nearly beat Indiana in Bloomington. If Indiana would fix thier defense I think that they could make a deep run in the NCAA tourney.

@springjo1 i think iu could still make a run in the tourney if we get some good shooting. If we shoot like we are capable of its tough to win. Weve got a lot of room for improvement on defense though.

@MrLcmcb Maybe Indiana will adjust. I'm not going to write them off just yet, even Kentucky had some terrible losts last year that nobody saw comming and what happened? Kentucky made it to the Final Four, so you can't write anything off. Do I see Indiana making a big run in the NCAA Tournament? No, but you never know. I think the rivalry between UK and IU is going to get more intense as the years go by and I hope it does, because it will only make each team better.

@springjo1 we are in a major defensive slump and are still not back to our good ball movement on offense. We arent playing good right now. They will adjust as the season goes on. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
