@lavoie84qc Probably not. I always thought it was a little strange that TTT and ROTK looked so much darker and less colorful. FOTR was full of bright, warm colors but TTT and ROTK were darker and colder. Now the green tint makes the colors in FOTR more relaxed, cooler and slightly darker.
I haven't seen the TT and ROTK BDs, but I bet they'd fit in more easily now. Many people I've heard from say that they barely notice and forget that the tint is even there.

@JoeNostalgiaReturns but is it a little strange to watch TTT and return of the kings after fotr? I mean the first movie is darker and have a green tint when the two following movies are white and clearer. thanks.

@lavoie84qc only the first movie has a green tint. its barely noticeable especially if you don't search for it and it makes some scenes that were too red in the original DVD look more natural. The picture quality is much, much, much more detailed than the last Blu-ray and the previous DVDs.
The Two Towers and Return of the King also look a lot better.

what about the quality of the image? is there any green tint in fotr like others said?
