Wonderful rendition of this piece...But I still prefer the one from Scott Ross...

@kreeezle : No. While that is the Schweitzerian manner of doing things, it is not mine. The dotted quavers should be double dotted as in the French style !

@utzuckz : Thankyou utzucks. You have stimulated my memory. I now realise that my ummm? piano teacher - in inverted commas - or rather, MY ARTISTIC STRANGLER, was overly influenced by Glenn Gould who ultimately a nutter.

@3NUNS tho unsurprisingly it's considerably slower than Glenn Gould's crisp rendition, which keep alive the spirit of the dance :)

@3NUNS : Yes and refer to the performances of the Courante from the d minor violin partita also by JS Bach.

@kreeezle : Hey baby. While Schweitzer has advocate what you belatedly advocate, some musicologists take the view which I have put forward by way of criticism of the present recitalist.

You are a fool who did not have proper musical training. I would say think before you speak....but since you did, do not give others misinformation. The dotted notes in the LH are supposed to match up with the RH. They are NOT true dotted notes.

@utzuckz : This, or the rather, the partita is a highly spiritual composition.

@kreeezle : No it is not ! The courante is played too fast and the dotted quavers not dotted enough !
