What about the quantum physics experiments that seem to suggest that observing an event somehow changes the outcome?

I know I'll be down-voted for saying this, but as a physics major and lifelong Quantum Physics enthusiast I had to say it:
NOTHING in quantum physics is actually "immaterial" or truly "invisible"; Quantum physics merely operates at a smaller level than we are currently able to see fully (though modern tools allow us to see more and more and of it every day).
Quantum physics has been used by laypersons to justify the "immaterial" and "metaphysical" simply because they don't fully grasp it. :(

He's making a lot of big leaps from his base premises, and his base premises are a little off kilter from the get go.
I smell a combination of pseudoscience and mysticism.
