  • I was in the 104th before they were absorbed into the 181st. I'm kind of sad that the 104th was disbanded into the 181, because the 104th had a rich history going all the way back to the revolution. They where on Omaha beach in normandy, fought in the battle of the bulge, they recieved the french fortege and so much more. It would have been cooler for the soldiers to all become 104th. That way they could all wear the fortege.
