Side effects of Prednisone, hand tremor(shaking)2

I suffer from Takayasu's Arteritis. I'm taking 40mg of prednisone a day.

How come you don't try one of those??

What are their names? Are their side effects worse or are they not as good as decreasing the vasculitis?  Is your peripheral pulse in your wrist palpable?

Certainly,Prednisone has various side effets and does me harm.But, My doctor says Prednisone is a essential drug for me to control inflammation.So, I have to keep taking medication.

Yes,I am a young Asian female.

This episode is constant.But Especially when I'm tired it is severe.

Yes.I have various side effects.

For example,rapid pulse,palpitation ,heart pain,hypertension....etc.

I'm a black female and i also suffer from takayasu syndrom or arteritis and i was about 27 when diag. I dont take the predisone . and i'm just fine ........

My tonsils have been swollen since December its now June. I have tonsillitis. And they gave me a prescription for Prednisone 10 MG. I have to take 6 a day for 2 days. Then 4 a day for 2 days, and 2 a day for 2 days. I started today and I took a quick nap and i thought i pissed in the bed, but it was sweat. My shirt was soaked especially around the neck area and my back. I could squeeze the sweat out my shirt and I have heavy eyes. Is this a common side effect from this medication? Thanks!

@bnjmn4u short term of a few days is usually okay, but this is so over prescribed and can cause serious life-changing effects so talk to doc

@georgethewondermutt Hey, my doctor prescribed me 40 mg of Prednisone and on my first day on it I felt an unbearable joint, neck, and back pain that I just had to take a nap. I'm on it for only five days and its to treat chronic laryngitis, but I don't want my bones to break and my doctor didn't tell me about these side effects, do you think five days could do considerable damage to my bones?

Prednisone caused me to suffer a stroke to my hip - cutting off blood supply to my femoral head. I now have to endure a total hip replacement in the future. It also caused my bones to become decalcified so I suffer from early onset osteopenia. This drug has HORRIBLE side effects that doctors do not tell you about.

i would recomend immediatly stop taking any drugs u mite suffer for a while in the long term those drugs will mess up ur body...and try yoga and breathing excersises
