What are the 3 most famous luxury watches of all time? If you could have any 3 luxury watches.... what would you choose? Patek Philippe is not known widely outside watch snob circles. The AP Royal Oak is magnificant however AP is not a common brand. The watches also need to retail above US$3000- (used values may be much lower). The watch must be a "luxury brand."

The 3 icons I have decided upon are:-
Rolex DateJust Steel and Gold with Diamond Bezel.
The next step up in the model range would be an all gold DAY-DATE President! The DateJust is perfect for all occassions. I remember in the 80s that Rolex associated the DateJust with Polo players.... does this mean the watch is a "cads" watch? Either way - who cares! The DateJust is excellent value on the used/secondary market due to the Sports Rolex watches being more collectable.

Omega Speedmaster Professional - Man on the Moon
The first watch worn on the moon! What an icon - especially with the 40th anniversary just done by. The Manual Wind Speedmaster is the icon.... the world's most famous sports watch? (Only the Rolex Submariner comes anywhere near).

Breitling Navitimer
What an icon loved by pilots! The world's most beautiful sports dial! Breitling has a very loyal following.... John Travolta, Seinfeld! .... to name just a few. The Navitimer is just pure class! Understated class! The show-offs chose Rolex..... the people with great style wear Breitling. Breitling watches are excellent value on the used/secondary market! An investment in yourself!
