hardest working industry, longest tenure out of any professional career to obtain a license, and the crappiest pay. So why do I still do it.

i'm thinking of doing architcture...i NEED some questions answered...
can you please explain the kinds of projects we need to do (describe)? are they hard? do you need stellar imagination? and what is the presentations process like?
anyone is free to answer,...it'll help a lot, thanks

do something else. architecture is the hardest major on most campus. you need to know how to balance your personal life and studio work. oh, there is no personal life. all your time is spent in the studio. presentations are like negotiating with the devil. it totally sux. even if you have a stellar project, they will bust and break you in half. go into engineering instead or the usual business or criminal justice lol

I really recommend going to see/ speak with architects in offices (they are friendlier than u think cos they were in your shoes once) + offer to work they for free + uni professors/students. Get to know the job before making the HUGE decision of doing a degree/course.
