  • Dear everyone bitching about lack of "final sound", remember the part 1 of the tutorial? He plays the final synth sound at the start. How embarrassing for all you dumbasses. @luckydatevideos , thanks for a great tutorial.

  • you're a tard.. no one knows what it sounds like

  • @ThemidnightbellTV I was wondering the same thing .-.

  • How do you record a synth line, he has one put in already, but im not sure how to physically create that, is there a keyboard application or something?

  • @Iancwilliamson It's all one piece of software, all you see here comes with reason.

  • How much does all that software cost

  • People have already said it but i think it needs to be repeated!!

the word is COMBINATOR!! instead of automating all the parameters individually program them into combinators (prob have to combine first if didnt already) first rotary lots less time consuming

  • Thanks! Works!

  • @RocketRevenge

Yeah I would have to agree with you there.

I've not tried record or reason 6 yet

Have you tried sony acid pro or cakewalk sonar? my preferred rewire solutions.

Acid is a lot quicker and simple to setup than cuebase, plus the availability of beat-mapping makes syncing easy and changing the tempo of you're track a one click option.

  • @RichieRemix you can use Subtractor in other DAW software like Cubase, using Rewire. Shame that Reason doesn't have VSTi support, though.. I'd love to use my OP-X and ImpOSCar with it, instead of recording those tracks in Cubase or Ableton and syncing up Reason with ReWire.

  • Some good tips here but you definitely took a complicated route. Use the rotaries on your first combi to automate multiple wobble parameters and just take a line out of relevant synths to other FX combis. This then saves endless 'cut-and-pasting' of automation sequences to make sure each parameter is identically wobbled. Thanks though :-)
