The square rigged Dutch sailing ship Bark Europa going downbound as they say, "locking" through the Soo Locks, the engineering marvel of the Army Corps of Engineers on the Great :Lakes, allowing ocean-going ships to go further inland than anywhere else on earth, Duluth being the farthest of all inland ports. The locks raise ships up to the Lake Superior 602' above sea level from the 580' level of Lakes Huron/Michigan.
