Thanks, I have checked out the Aurora on the Alien Ocean website and it certainly sounds and looks very good. From the information on their website your commute is obviously off-road ; - ). Will give this bike serious consideration, the quality looks good as does the bike.

Thanks for this and the other vids. I'm seriously considering buying an Aurora but at the moment I'm put off by the price and the old style headset, limiting future fork upgrades.

@NOtotheEU Its not too hard to change the headset to an Ahead type, then you can fit any forks you want. Of course you'd have to change the stem too.

@TheAegisClaw I didn't know that, thanks. I've just got to worry about getting enough money now! Can it maintain 15-20mph on the throttle up average hills on the road? I'm 6' 5" and 16 stone and the couple of electric scooters and cycles I've tried are pretty useless, even on the flat.

@NOtotheEU It depends on your definition of an average hill i suppose. I always pedal at least a little on hills, the aurora is noticeably quicker up them than a "legal" eBike.

Very impressive, I assume it has disc brakes ? Any problems with the bike yet?

@jeffersonsdown Yes, cable disc brakes. Its stood up to commuting for the last five weeks without any problems. Rain or shine.
