@Summerlandsteam Here's a fact, Lew was 188 and Lyd (when repainted) will be 190 which means there should be a 189 and Ace would be great canidate.

But coal or wood to be greener is easy on larger 5" models like i prefur.
-
Thanks Jamie - but gas is a lot more relaxing!!!!

@sirgresley6007 - This loco was the first Roundhouse L&B loco converted by John Shawe of John Shawe Steam Services. It is a one-off and nobody is currently making a coal fired version of this loco. I bought it at auction and the story is on my website under "My Railway". DJB Engineering do a kit for a gas fired version and coal fired kits to convert Accucraft Ragleths - maybe one day they will convert the new Lyn.

Nice pair of vids, a friend has a coal fired L&B loco, it's a great runner although its got radio fitted

Thanks Chris - and this one did have single channel R/C and a fixed roof when I got it. The only access was through that flap which was impossible! The radio had to go and the roof made to lift off. The advantage of radio is that you can avoid stalling and so don't need the blower on all the time.
