Linebacker II was the price North Vietnam paid for their duplicity at the negotiating table. They thought the US was afraid to bomb Hanoi, and many died for their hubris. Tough way to learn a lesson.

@troytblevins America and South Vietnam didn't abide by the 1954 Geneva Agreement. That's what started the Vietnam War in the 1st place. You can't trust Americans.

north vietnam should have signed the peace agreement years earlier then after america left they could have invaded the south because agreements with them were nothing more than a peace of paper anyway,we need to remember that before we sign any agreements with them today.
