I just picked up the tin whistle to begin learning Trad tunes (iI play the bodhran - the Irish frame drum) and this is the first traditional tune that I'm learning. I'm quite a bit older than you but a beginner and hope to play as well as you do. And by the way- I like pumpernickle as well!
