were suppose to trust companies like microsoft arent ripping off programmers by modifying thier sorce code to look like something else and encrypting it.

Privatization of technology and programming needs to be illegalized, this is why we end up with places like iran and north korea privately developing technology, nuclear tech in that case.

not to mention the library does the same thing as filesharing and if its not illegal for me to go to a california library and rent a dvd for free, why is it illegal for me to me to download it. When i buy something from you, we do not co own property, anti piracy violates so many fundamental american rights.

Also thiers this with program encryption, I can encrypt a program you have made with my encryption, thier is no way of knowing if you cant break my encryption if ive stole your programming

And if I have legally bought something of software..such as a game or other application...I can sell it as well. Whether in person or from an online auction site such as Ebay. Same as selling a book or a music album. And believe me...when the dollar collapses and the whole world system crashes there will be much bartering and the rise and growth of black markets. And exchange of these kinds of products and even skills and services for food,water and other necessities.

Although there are other forms and methods of protest,boycott and disobediance: Piracy is one of the heavy arsenal of dynamic protest, disobediance, and attacks on the system. A system that thru the many years of bombardment and conditioning of people to be both citizen and consumerist slaves. Thru society, family, culture, and the mass media. There are tons of legal and free downloads of all kinds of media resources and content.
