Kevin's POV
"JOE!! MOM!!! DAD!!!! HELP!!!" I called. I picked Nick up while they came running out.
"What happened?! Why are you holding Nick like that?!" Mom asked.
"He passed out, call 911!" I shouted. We got an ambulance. Finally we found ourselves in the waiting room. After a while a doctorcame out.
"Family of Jonas?" He asked. Everyone stood up.
"Come with me." He said. We followed him until he was standing outside the doorway to the room. "Nick's blood sugar is 700. The normal is around 70(is that right?) to 120 (? i know it's in the 100's). I'm sorry but he has been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes." We were all scared. It was too much for Joe. joe passed out. He woke up soon. We walked into the room to find Nick sleeping. We woke him up. BUt when we told him he must've been scared.
"W-will I die?" He asked. Mom gasped and looked down. But the doctor said he wouldn't. After that they got Nick's blood sugar back to normal, we spent a few days learning how to manage it. Since then. Nick has NEVER let diabetes slow him down.
