Sandy Jones-Kaminski - Learning to Love LinkedIn

Sandy Jones-Kaminski speaks to SPU students about LinkedIn and why it's important to get on there NOW as opposed to after their graduation. She also introduces the concept of "personal brand" and how LinkedIn differs from other online networking tools.

Sandy provided an excellent presentation on LinkedIn for the Center for Career & Callings Major & Career Exploration class consisting of 43 freshman & sophomore students at Seattle Pacific University. She engaged the students and tailored her presentation to their level and familiarity with social networking mediums. She gave very specific examples that allowed students to easlily understand the many benefits of using LinkedIn for networking and job search. The results were outstanding; every student completed their assignment to create a LinkedIn profile for the next class session.
