Check out the original version of this song by Gale Storm from 1957. Her voice is not quite so sharp and it makes the song much more pleasant. I find this girl's voice too jarring.

this song can be found on the fifth episode of mad men, and a season 4 episode of the sopranos, two brilliant shows, and two very strong scenes. and of course, a great great song.

I first heard this song from Scorsese's film Meanstreet and rushed to order the cd, which has many great songs. I love doowop, wnd the few women who get their time in the sun! "You broke my heart" at 59 point passes all jealousy tests. Thanks for the post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
