  • The thing about this is that it is by no means only about religion... Athiest, Catholic, Muslim, Jewish, Mormon, Baptist or anything, the message applies to all -- we are all here together, so we might as well try and take the best of care for one another... Thats it. Everyone has been dealt a hand that has its ups and its downs, with the world as it is, so filled with war, anger and confusion, we should all try just a little more to look for those that need a few "silver dollars in their shoes"

  • Even if you aren't a Mormon, this video still shares a great message.

  • I remember being overcome with emotion the first time I heard this story from President Hinckley. It happened again when I saw this video for the first time. It has been a couple of years since that first viewing, and those strong feelings have returned watching it this second time. What a great video and a great message. The gifts of charity, service, and love are priceless and eternal.

  • Mann just touched my heart. That just makes me want to Choose The Right where ever I go.

  • I love President Hinkley.

  • Wow president hinkley was great

  • This is one of the greatest videos on youtube

  • @umsami Have you read the Book of Mormon? I think you might find a little enlightenment on the subject if you were to read it and ponder on it. And after all, aren't all Christian denominations based on Faith?

  • Awesome.

  • @umsami Don't put your faith in the understanding of men. Read the Book of Mormon, and then pray about it. No longer will you be worried about something that might not be able to be explained by men, but will have a sure knowledge of the truth from our Heavenly Father.

  • Awesome story. I'm not Mormon, but plan to share this with my kids in the morning. Of all the Christians I know, the Mormons seem to live their faith the best. Unfortunately, I can't get past the disconnect of the BOM w/ archaeological evidence.

  • @bonnieridd Why should he find god? Can't this story move him without someone needing to bring GOD into it?
