Tucker at CAS

Tucker came from a petting zoo. At the end of their open season, many petting zoos send the animals to slaughter because they do not want to pay to care for the animals during the off season and need to get new baby animals the following year to attract the public. A girl and her mother had fallen in love with Tucker and didn't want to see him go to slaughter, so they purchased him from the petting zoo and brought him to CAS. He is a big teddy bear who loves attention and lots of kisses.

We encourage people to visit reputable sanctuaries instead of petting zoos, circuses, and the like.
