Other than a door this is my finished 12' x 16' shed. It has a loft which adds another 12' x 15'ish worth of space (has a 4'x4' access hole). The first level has 8' high walls which means I can stack stuff pretty high on shelving. The second level also has a tall ceiling at almost 5' at the peak. Total buildig height is around 15'.

With the two 8'x16' lean-to I have about 3,500 in to the shed including buying some air tools. This is around he same cost as buying one. However I have 3/4" PT floors, 16" on center studs, 8' walls, almost a full 2nd floor loft with a tall ceiling, and two leans-tos. With the extra height this shed probably has twice the storage has 6' walled 12'x16' shed. The 16'x16' worth of lean-to more than doubled the storage space again. Same price 4 times the storage space and it is better built.

It took a while to build it with limited time to work on it in the hot summer. All and all I am glad I built it instead of buying one. Basic plans came from shedking
