The Ponderosa Ranch, Incline, Nevada - Home of the Cartwright Family of Bonanza. The ranch was open to the public for over 35 years and sadly closed it's gates in 2004.
If you look it up on Wiki, there is a link to the Washo Co, NV land use map for the area which calls for an expanded theme park and themed hotel. So far there hasn't been any movement on it, but considering the current economy, I'm not surprised. Maybe when things get better.
I came from Minnesota to work at the Ponderosa the summer of 1983. Probably the best summer of my life. I was sad to hear the ranch had closed. Watching the video brought back great, great memories...

It probably was not as popular an attraction as it once was. You can find it on Google Earth. It appears that the buildings are still intact.
