http://vitatalks.com/2010/08/22/acne-and-blood-suagr-control/ - diet for improvements in your acne through blood sugar control
If you want improvements in your acne, then it is critically important that you support balanced blood sugar levels.
Imbalanced blood sugar leads to increases in insulin, the major blood sugar control hormone.
Unfortunately higher insulin levels = higher levels of testosterone and IGF-1, taken together these result in increased production of sebum and keratin, which build up and block hair follicles = spots!
A blood sugar control diet is essential -- see the link above
These are the best supplements that you can use as an adjunct in order to help with blood sugar control, and improve your acne.
Chromium: forms part of a molecule called GTF which sensitises cells to insulin, helping to reduce insulin output.
Magnesium: sensitises cells to insulin, helping to reduce insulin output.
B3 (niacin): forms part GTF which sensitises cells to insulin, helping to reduce insulin output. Research works well with chromium
Biotin: help regulate insulin release from the pancreas. Research shows it works well with chromium.
Omega 3 (fish oil or flaxseeds oil): sensitises cells to insulin, helping to reduce insulin output. Also has an anti-inflammatory function in the body, excess inflammation is linked to a reduced sensitivity to insulin, resulting in better insulin sensitivity.

@brcrecords2006 Solgar male multiple formula is close to what I recommend, that is readily available in most health food stores. Plus this supplement also has a good dose of zinc! also very important for helping to improve the acne condition. Hope that helps.
