@sochmo YOU'RE KIDDIN' RIGHT? HE PLAYS OFF THE CHANGES AND USES DIFFERENT MODES. CLAPTON AND STEVIE PLAYED THE PENTAONIC MINOR AND THE BLUES SCALE ALL THE TIME. THEY WOULD JUST REPEAT THEMSELVES OVER AND OVER AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS ON THE NECK. VERY GARDEN VARIETY PLAYING. SETZER SPELLS CHANGES WITH MANY VARIATIONS OF SCALES AND MODES. HE ALSO USES SO MANY VARIATIONS OF CHORDS SO HE HAS TO EXPLORE DIFFERENT THINGS OTHER THAN THE BLUES SCALE AND PENTATONIC MINOR.

@Edhallick To be fair, Madonna doesn't lip synch. And her first few albums were fantastic. Haven't heard much from her recently. I wasn't aware she was still releasing albums... if she is, we're sure not hearing about it here in the U.S.

Brian Setzer has released way too many covers for anybody to criticize Madonna for not solely releasing original and self-written tracks...pointing a finger and calling her nasty names just makes you sound like misogynists who can't handle when a female succeeds. Name one powerful exec who she had an affair with. Slept her way to the top? What with unknown musicians and artist types? Not likely.

@badpinkrecords - May I add that Madonna has been a huge influence on the music industry? Like it or not she has been relevant for decades and almost non-stop. Brian makes huge splashes but doesn't stay relevant. He's too busy being true to himself, but that doesn't usually get people into the Hall of Fame. Based on past winners one must stay relevant and/or be a huge credited influence on subsequent generations.(and not only on underground sub-genres) Calling her a c**t was uncalled for.
